A study of the correlation between M2 macrophages and lymph node metastasis of colorectal carcinoma

Abstract Background Lymph node metastasis is a major prognostic sign of colorectal carcinoma and an important indicator for individualized treatment. M2 macrophages play key role in carcinogenesis tumor development by enhancing invasiveness promoting lymph metastasis. The purpose this study was to investigate the effect CD163-positive on carcinoma. Methods Postoperative tissues were obtained from 120 patients with who underwent radical surgery First Affiliated Hospital Jinzhou Medical University between December 2019 May 2020. We detected expression CD163 protein nodes using immunohistochemistry. Furthermore, relationships identified analyzed independent sample t -test Chi-square test. Results increased metastatic non-metastatic adjacent cancer. macrophage count higher macro-metastases than micro-metastases. Conclusions presence represents may be potential marker its prediction.
